SeeClickFix Blog#3

  • What are the different statuses on the posters, and what do each of them mean?            There is Open, Ackknowledged and Closed, which just tells how your SCF is doing, like if it is Open, it was just recently seen by the SCF people, acknowledged mening they see it and are trying to fix it, and closed meaning it has been resolved.
  • Describe what you did (or what you were supposed to do) to find out if the issue you submitted to SeeClickFix was fixed.                                                                                   You were supposed to sign in to your SCF account to see the status of your issue to see if it had changed, and if it was closed, meaning it had already been resolved.
  • What changes do you notice from the April 13th posters to the April 27th posters?       More Issues have been moved to acknowledged and some have even been moved to closed meaning it has been resolved.
  • Do you think there are any types of issues SeeClickFix is better at getting fixed than others?  Why do you think that?                                                                                           I think that they are better t resolving issues concerning trash dumping because on the charts the most closed was trsh dumping which only had a few in acknowlegded.
  • If an issue someone reported did not get fixed, what is something they might try next?                                                                                                                                                     They might report it a second time just to poke the people at SCF to keep trying or they may go straight to City Hall to confront The City council about their situation.
  • Do you think people who report issues to SeeClickFix are able to gain agency?  Explain your answer.                                                                                                                       Yes because they are choosing to fix their community in a way that most people dont do, but just brush off.  They are choosing to help better their surrounding enviorment not just for themselves, but for those around them in their community.
